Santa Barbara Street Walkin'

My family took a spontaneous day trip to Santa Barbara yesterday. Let me tell you, an afternoon drive on the 101 paralleling the Pacific Ocean is something I think everyone should experience at some point in their life. The weather has been so nice lately in Southern California and it makes me so grateful to be able to live here. After visiting the Santa Barbara zoo, something randomly on my mother's bucket list, we walked around State Street. Of course, I took advantage of this photo opportunity to shoot my new boots! These knee high boots are the Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots and I have been coveting them for so long now. Somehow, I managed to get these boots for under $100 while sacrificing the comfort of my feet. I had to go down a half size, but my feet will just have to deal with it.
For my outfit, I started off with a black sweater from ASOS which has a strap cross back. Due to the warm weather, I wore the sweater over a simple burgundy skirt from Brandy Melville. I kept accessories simple as usual with just some gold jewelry.
Hope you all have a fun and safe New Years! Thank you for reading my blog this year and cheers to more posts in 2014.

Men's Fashion: Part 2

For those of you who saw my last men's fashion feature, this guy will look familiar. Brandon and I shot two looks in one day because he just has such an extensive wardrobe. We shot this look in the Venice beach canals and I thought it was such a cool location!
I would say the main feature of this look is his blazer by John Varvatos. The color is so on point for fall/winter! He then layered a collared shirt from Topman under a crew neck from Gap. I love the collar on the shirt and it definitely adds a lot to the look. His pants are by Joe's Jeans and the glasses are classic Ray Ban Clubmasters. His boots are by Timberland and Brandon says the mud further accessorizes the look. Clearly, he know what he is talking about.
I hope you enjoyed this collaboration and I would definitely love to feature Brandon on here again! Enjoy your holiday season. xx
